Halifax Choral Society is delighted to have been invited to inaugurate the magnificent new Mander organ at St Paul’s Church, King Cross. The first half of the concert will showcase its brilliance through a selection of works performed by renowned recital organist Darius Battiwalla.
The second half will feature a performance of Verdi’s Requiem with the Choral Society joined by pianists Philip Voldman and Tom Moore, along with percussionist Gareth Hand and four world-class soloists, bringing Verdi’s dramatic and deeply moving masterpiece to life in this powerful interpretation.
